Regis Gives Day Challenges

Boost the impact of your gift and win Regis schwag by participating in one of our challenges throughout Regis Gives Day! All members of the Regis community are encouraged to join the fun to support their favorite college, program or fund. 

Please note that challenges are for online gifts only. Winners will be contacted directly via email and all prizes will be distributed after Regis Gives Day.


The Early Bird Challenge 

The donor who makes the first gift on Regis Gives Day will receive their choice of Regis-branded socks or a tote bag. The giving site opens at 12:01 am MST on 4/12.


The Last-Chance Challenge 

The donor who makes the last gift on Regis Gives Day will receive their choice of Regis-branded socks or a tote bag. Gifts must be received by midnight on 4/12.


The Student Philanthropist Challenge 

The Regis Gives Day project that generates the most gifts from Regis students will secure an extra $2,000 from University Advancement. All students who give on Regis Gives Day will be eligible for a drawing for a pair of Regis-branded socks or a tote bag.


The Advocates Challenge 

The person who raises the most money as a Regis Gives Day advocate will receive their choice of Regis-branded socks or a tote bag.


The Alumni Project Challenge 

The Regis Gives Day project that generates the most gifts from Regis alumni will secure an extra $2,000 from University Advancement. Three alumni donors will be selected at random to receive Regis alumni schwag.


The Culture of Philanthropy Faculty and Staff Challenge 

The Regis Gives Day project that generates the most gifts from Regis alumni will secure an extra $2,000 from University Advancement. Three alumni donors will be selected at random to receive Regis alumni schwag.


The Multi-Gift Challenge 

All donors who contribute to two or more funds on Regis Gives Day will be eligible for a drawing for a pair of Regis-branded socks or a tote bag.


FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT REGIS GIVES DAY 

What Is Regis Gives Day? 

Regis Gives Day is a 24-hour challenge to inspire the Regis community to come together in support of work that inspires and moves them. Every gift makes a difference, advancing the Regis mission and impact both locally and around the world! 

 

How do I make a gift? 

On April 12, 2023, visit www.givesday.regis.edu and follow the link to the Regis Gives Day 2023 crowdfunding campaign page to make a gift online. 

We accept Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and direct bank transfer in addition to standard credit cards.

How will my gift make a difference?

No matter how much you choose to donate, your gift will provide immediate support to the projects you support. Small gifts add up to have a large impact. Last year, gifts under $250 added up to over $100,000. 

 

Is there a minimum donation amount?

Yes. The minimum donation amount is $5. This covers Regis' expenses for transaction processing and other fees associated with accepting donations.

 

Can I make a recurring gift? 

Yes! 
 

Will you accept gifts from outside the US?

Yes! Many International Regis alumni, parents and friends participate in Regis Gives Day, making gifts from all over the world. 

If you encounter any issues with making a payment from overseas, please contact annualsupport@regis.edu. 


Can I give via check, stock, wire transfer, payroll deduction or another method?

Yes! Please email annualsupport@regis.edu if you wish to make a non-online gift. We will accept checks with Regis Gives Day written into the memo line that are postmarked or received by or before April 12. 


What should I give to?

Each of the Regis Gives Day 2023 projects are summarized on this page. Have a look through the many options to find those that speak to you the most. If you really can’t decide, we recommend donating to the Regis University Excellence Fund, which addresses the greatest funding needs at Regis University.
