Our HSI Student Success Program is an umbrella of many initiatives that support the academic and vocational development of our Latine students. Our commitment to leaning into our responsibility to truly serve our students motivates and shapes our work. We know that our high impact practices—summer bridge programs, peer-to-peer mentoring, holistic advising, leadership development and inclusive curriculum courses—are good for all students, regardless of their backgrounds. “A rising tide lifts all ships.” While we focus on students whose families are new to college and those who are under resourced, we are open to serving all students who desire the support we offer. Our programs are dedicated to creating accessible channels for our students to share their gifts, build capacity and flourish in higher education.
