Tech Training for Immigrants & Refugees

One of the Common Good Network's (CGN's) primary areas of focus is community outreach. And one of the center's key partners for this outreach is TechNation Careers. They provide technology skill training to immigrants and refugees so that they can more effectively integrate into our community and earn viable wages, while providing needed skills to our marketplace. The CGN provides critical support for this effort by providing funding for training materials as well as instructors.

In addition to funding, TechNation's partnership with the CGN provides that organization with the necessary relationships with an accredited educational institution that adds credibility to their job placement process.

From Regis' perspective, in addition to alignment with pursuit of the Common Good, this relationship also promotes Regis University's academic programs to the organization's trainees who wish to continue their higher education aspirations.
