Class of 2023

"First Scholars has been most important to me because of the relationships that have been created with faculty/staff and peers. As a cohort of first generation students we have found commonalities in experiences that make us passionate students and whole individuals. This class has created a space for me to develop a deeper sense of self acceptance. First Scholars will continue to leave a significant imprint on future first generation students." - Esmeralda Flores
