Victim Advocacy and Violence Prevention (VAVP) presentations don’t just inform students—they immerse them in real-life scenarios that encourage reflection and action. One student noted that the experience helped them “relate certain elements from my life and the lives of those around me to see what could be/is harmful.” This kind of self-awareness and peer support is crucial in preventing relationship violence and fostering a safer campus.
In the fall, we host the Consent Carnival - this event celebrates healthy relationships, boundary-setting, and personal agency in an interactive, engaging space designed to make conversations about consent both meaningful and memorable Our spring event, Wellfest, invites all students to engage in tangible care for themselves and their community. We believe that Wellness Is Prevention.Our events and awareness tables pair hands-on activities with educational materials that help normalize conversation around sensitive issues.Students come together and create in ways that help build community, more connection can amount to more care for each other.
