This project supports high-impact programs, including:

• First Gen Summer Bridge: a pre-college leadership and orientation program that prepares first-generation students for success, equipping them with the skills and confidence to navigate college life.

• Accessibility Day: A campus-wide event during Ranger Week that celebrates disability identity, highlights accessibility achievements and raises awareness about barriers that impact our community.

• Student Leadership & Mentoring: Peer mentorship and leadership development programs that cultivate student confidence, relationship-building and campus engagement.

• Strategies for Success: Academic support initiatives that provide students with practical tools to enhance college persistence, retention and overall success.

Research shows that students who feel a sense of belonging are more likely to stay in school, succeed academically and graduate on time.
