Elevating the Spirit Team

The RU Spirit Team is a collective of young movers that are both athletes in nature, as well a change-makers in their academic lives and beyond. Made up of both a dance and cheer squad, we come together to be a face of unity, positivity, and perseverance on campus. We passionately cheer and perform at Regis Athletics events, and we also host and participate in community-driven initiatives to uplift and support our Regis family.

We’re more than just performers. RU Spirit is a motivated, determined group of students committed to personal growth, teamwork and service. Our members are future leaders in fields like nursing, teaching, law and healthcare—individuals who understand the importance of showing up, giving back and lifting each other up. The spirit we bring to the campus is a reflection of our shared values: community, dedication and resilience.

While RU Spirit has come a long way, the journey hasn’t been without challenges. Like many programs at the Division II level, we face obstacles such as limited funding, the need for consistent leadership and a lack of essential resources like professional coaching, athletic training and specialized equipment. Despite these hurdles, the Spirit Team has made incredible strides, and we’re ready to take the next step toward a brighter future.

With your support, we can continue to grow the pride and sense of community within the RU Spirit Team. Your donation will have a direct, tangible impact on our student-athletes’ lives, giving them the resources they need to excel both athletically and academically. These funds will allow us to maintain and expand our coaching staff, invest in uniforms and team gear, provide more advanced training and remove financial barriers for our dedicated student-athletes. This year we also hope to provide scholarship opportunities for our students—an unprecedented step for our program. These scholarships will not only recognize the hard work and commitment of our athletes, but also ensure the long-term sustainability and growth of the RU Spirit Team.
