The positive impact of higher education is undeniable, with its ability to open doors to greater opportunities, financial independence and a better quality of life. Historically, individuals with intellectual disabilities have been denied access to a college education, leaving them with limited career options and perpetuating cycles of poverty.
The GLOBAL Inclusive Program is dedicated to offering students with intellectual disabilities the chance to access the same opportunities as their peers. By providing a pathway to higher education, we empower these students to build fulfilling lives and careers.
The GLOBAL Inclusive Program is a two-year, 36-credit certificate program designed around five core pillars: academics, emotional and physical wellness, self-determination and independent living, social engagement and career development. Through this unique curriculum, students not only earn an academic certificate upon completion but also gain the skills and support they need to thrive in all areas of life. Using a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, each student is provided with tailored support to help them excel academically, socially, emotionally and vocationally.
At Regis, this program is more than just an academic offering. It is a powerful embodiment of our Jesuit values, reflecting our commitment to the development of every individual. By supporting the GLOBAL Inclusive Program, you are helping to create a more inclusive, equitable future—one where everyone, regardless of ability, has the opportunity to succeed.
