In line with this mission, we are excited to introduce our Green Fund, a transformative initiative designed to enrich our campus and the surrounding community with sustainable, eco-friendly projects.
Your generous donation will support efforts like creating a serene contemplative garden for quiet reflection, designing a peaceful labyrinth for walking meditation and planting native and pollinator-friendly plants that enhance biodiversity, reduce water usage and create a thriving ecosystem on our campus. These initiatives will not only beautify our surroundings but also provide our students, faculty and staff with a tranquil oasis—a space where mindfulness and connection to nature can flourish.
But we’re just getting started. The Green Fund will also support future projects, such as:
- Installing more filtered water stations to reduce single-use plastic waste
- Expanding our recycling and composting programs
- Exploring alternative energy solutions to power our campus
- Encouraging sustainable transit options to reduce our carbon footprint
These initiatives are part of Regis's broader Laudato Si’ Action Plan, which focuses on seven essential areas: care for the earth, care for the poor, sustainable lifestyles, ecological education, ecological economics, ecological spirituality and community empowerment.
