Elevating the Spirit Team

The Regis University Spirit Team is the heartbeat of Ranger pride - igniting energy at every game, inspiring connection across campus, and representing Regis with passion, talent, and unwavering school spirit. From the sidelines of athletic events to campus traditions and community outreach, our cheer and dance teams serve as true ambassadors of the Regis experience.

But unlike many collegiate programs, the Spirit Team is entirely self-funded. Their success and their ability to grow depends on the generosity of alumni, families, and friends of Regis.

Last year, supporters contributed more than $8,000 through Regis Gives, helping launch essential program foundations and providing new uniforms for our student-athletes. That investment made an immediate, visible impact, and it sparked new momentum.

Now, the team is ready for its next leap forward.

Over the next one to two years, the Spirit Team aims to nearly double its number of student-athletes, expanding opportunities for involvement and elevating the spirit presence at games, campus events, and beyond. With growth comes new needs: additional uniforms, updated equipment, and the resources required to ensure every athlete can participate safely, confidently, and proudly.

Donor support will also fuel the team’s long-term vision. Contributions will help secure specialized training equipment that allows athletes to safely perform more advanced skills – strengthening the program and opening pathways for future competitive opportunities. The teams long-term vision includes representing Regis on a national stage at UCA/UDA College Nationals, showcasing the talent and dedication of our student-athletes.

In the meantime, your support makes possible the essential day-to-day operations that keep the program thriving: training camp costs, coaching support, equipment upkeep, and the replacement of gear throughout the season. These investments ensure a strong, sustainable program for current athletes and future Rangers.

Most importantly, giving to the Spirit Team is a direct investment in students. A vibrant spirit program enhances campus life, boosts school pride, increases attendance and enthusiasm at athletic events, and builds a sense of belonging that lasts long after graduation.
