Research Rising – Inaugural Campaign for Data Science & AI Excellence

Regis University is proud to announce the establishment of the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Programs Excellence Fund, a visionary initiative dedicated to elevating the Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) and Master of Science in Applied Artificial Intelligence (MSAI) programs within the Anderson College of Business and Computing.

Data science and artificial intelligence are transforming every corner of society – from health care and finance to manufacturing, transportation, and entertainment. Students in these programs are preparing to lead this transformation, but their success requires more than coursework alone. They need opportunities to conduct meaningful research, collaborate with faculty, and engage directly with the industry leaders shaping the field.

While tuition supports classroom learning, it is these beyond‑the‑classroom experiences that differentiate Regis graduates in a competitive marketplace.

In the past year, faculty and students have published multiple peer-reviews articles and conference proceedings, contributing fresh insights and advancing the broader AI and data science ecosystem. Recent technology investments have provided students with hands-on access to professional grade hardware for training large models, running complex experiments, and building functional AI agents.

Gifts to the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Programs Excellence Fund directly support collaborative research between students and faculty, enabling groundbreaking work in areas such as agentic AI, machine learning, computer vision, and predictive analytics.
