PBLA Grab-N-Go Breakfast

Good nutrition is a key component to students’ learning, health, and well-being. Students who eat a nutritious breakfast see improved school attendance, behavior, memory retention and academic performance. Yet many Porter-Billups Leadership Academy students receive their only meal of the day when they attend our college preparatory program. To meet this need, PBLA will provide well-balanced nutritional breakfasts to our students at no cost to them.

For just $2 per student, your donation will help us reach our goal of providing a grab-n-go breakfast for every PBLA student during the 2022 academy session. Your gift of any size on Regis Gives Day ensures our students will be able to receive the nutrition they need to be successful in their academic endeavors.

Below are just a few examples of how your gift can make a difference:

• A gift of $50 provides 25 students a grab-n-go breakfast
• A gift of $250 provides 125 students an opportunity to have better academic performance
• A gift of $430 provides every student a grab-n-go breakfast for one day
• A gift of $1,000 provides 500 breakfasts out of the 3,010 needed to improve alertness & memory
• Reaching our goal of $6,020 will provide every student a nutritious breakfast meal for each of the 14 days of the academy.
