Gifts to Fr. Shelton Psych & Neuroscience Student Support contribute to...
The Father Shelton Psychology and Neuroscience Student Support Fund provides students in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience with financial assistance to reach their academic goals.
Your gift on Regis Gives Day will help us grant awards for students to participate in a psychology or neuroscience conference, advance a specific psychology or neuroscience scholarly research project, pay for research equipment or supplies, or defray the cost of membership to national honor society organizations, such as Psi Chi or Nu Rho Psi.
In the past two years, awards from this fund have enabled neuroscience students to travel to Chicago to present their research at the annual meeting of the Society for Neuroscience. Donations to this fund have also helped to pay for conference registration, poster printing, and allowed our psychology students the opportunity to attend the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association conference.
Your donation today will open doors for our students to attend top graduate programs and procure prestigious jobs in the psychology and neuroscience fields. Your gift will also honor the legacy of Father Charles Shelton, a beloved Professor of Psychology at Regis and chaplain to the Regis men’s soccer and baseball teams who passed away in 2014 after 26 years of service to the University.
Please consider a donation of any size this Regis Gives Day. With your support, we can help up to 12 psychology and neuroscience students realize their academic ambitions.
