Research and Scholarship Student Travel Grants

The Regis University Research and Scholarship Council (URSC) needs your help to position our graduates for success in their careers. URSC supports students conducting original research and presenting it to national audiences of experts at the annual meetings of professional societies.

We aim to raise $5,000 on Regis Gives Day to send our students to conferences to present their original research and strengthen their chances for success in applications to grad/medical school, prestigious internships, or jobs with prestigious fortune-500 companies such as Google, Goldman Sachs, Meta, Pfizer, McKinsey, or IBM. Graduate programs, internships, and some of the most competitive career paths today all require students to conduct original research projects as a part of their education.

But professional presentations are expensive. They require our students to prepare large format posters, travel across the country, stay several days to network and seek out opportunities, and pay registration fees and membership dues. For this reason, every gift you make on Regis Gives Day can help make a difference.

Below are just a few examples of what your generosity might support for our students:

• $75 could pay the registration fees and dues required to attend a national meeting
• $100 could pay for one night’s lodging
• $300 could pay for roundtrip flights to most venues in the USA
• $500 would provide a full grant to a student to cover these expenses
