Gifts to Rueckert-Hartman College Research Symposium contribute to...
The Rueckert Hartman College for Health Professions (RHCHP) is fundraising for its first ever research symposium. This symposium provides an opportunity for students to become better researchers by showcasing their finest scholarly and innovative work, while presenting what they have learned through their research endeavors.
Health profession students in nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy, behavioral health and health services education, will have the opportunity to foster discussions, collaborations and networking among their peers and faculty, including meeting industry leaders, researchers and practitioners from the community.
In this way, the symposium provides a platform for students from different disciplines to discuss their research while encouraging interprofessional learning. When students present research, they learn critical thinking skills while improving their ability to clearly communicate key findings.
Research and experimental/hands-on learning have shown to better equip students to enter the workforce with skills that strengthen their intellectual growth, academic achievement and professional growth.
By raising $7,000, two students will be selected to receive a $1,500 innovative researcher award to further support their research. The additional $4,000 will strengthen the integrity of the symposium by supporting the RHCHP Research and Scholarship Committee who lends its leadership and expertise to support research and scholarship in the college, through grants and professional development opportunities for students and faculty.
Make a gift on Regis Gives Day to help RHCHP students achieve more through academic scholarship.
