Among the most powerful tools for creative learning is photography. Through the lens of a camera, students connect technology with history, telling compelling stories that bridge the past and present. Photography encourages them to think critically, and to see the world from new perspectives.

However, despite its incredible potential, access to quality photography equipment is a significant barrier for many students. Even secondhand cameras can be prohibitively expensive, preventing eager learners from enrolling in photography courses and fully exploring this art form.

Regis University is deeply committed to making education accessible for all. By contributing to the Camera Library initiative, you’ll be giving students the opportunity to check out dedicated cameras—tools that foster creativity without the distractions of smartphones. The Fine and Performing Arts Department will manage equipment rentals, ensuring that every student, regardless of their financial situation, has access to the resources they need to succeed.
